The Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development, Abdullahi Yusuf Atah, has pledged two million votes from Kano for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027 presidential election.
He called on all members and supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano State to actively participate in the ongoing nationwide revalidation and registration exercise of the party.
Atah, who is also a leading figure of the APC in Kano State and a key stakeholder in the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, made this call while addressing party faithful and political leaders across the state recently.
He urged existing members to revalidate their membership and encouraged new entrants to seize the opportunity to formally align with the APC, describing the exercise as a critical step in strengthening the party’s grassroots base and democratic structures.
According to the Minister, the revalidation and registration exercise provides a unique opportunity for Kano people who believe in progressive governance, national unity, and sustainable development to recommit themselves to the ideals of the APC.
He emphasized that the exercise is taking place across all the political wards in the 44 Local Government Areas of Kano State, making it accessible to every willing party member and supporter.

He noted that the President’s reform agenda, particularly in the areas of economic restructuring, infrastructure development, housing delivery, social investment, and institutional reforms, has laid a solid foundation for Nigeria’s long-term growth and global competitiveness.
He stated that under President Tinubu’s leadership, Nigeria is on a clear path toward economic stability and improved human development outcomes, adding that ongoing reforms are already repositioning the country to attain an all-time high in its Human Development Index.
According to him, these achievements underscore the need for continuity, consolidation, and sustained support for the President’s vision.The Minister stressed that President Tinubu deserves a second term to fully consolidate the gains of his reforms and to firmly place Nigeria on the global economic map.
He described Kano State as a stronghold of progressive politics and assured Nigerians that the people of Kano are fully mobilized and politically awakened.
Atah pledged not less than two million votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu from Kano State in the forthcoming general elections.
He attributed this assurance to the massive mobilization efforts currently ongoing across the state through the APC membership revalidation and registration exercise.
He further called on all residents of Kano State, irrespective of political background, ethnicity, or religion, to participate peacefully and constructively in the exercise, noting that the APC remains a broad-based, inclusive platform committed to the welfare of all Nigerians.
Atah reaffirmed his unwavering loyalty to the APC and the administration of President Tinubu, assuring party members of his continued dedication to strengthening the party and advancing the Renewed Hope Agenda for the benefit of Kano State and Nigeria at large.
