Liverpool fans are in for a treat as Jurgen Klopp is set to return to Anfield, 18 months after leaving the dugout, to assist Sir Kenny Dalglish in a Liverpool Legends game.

The charity match, scheduled for Saturday, March 28, will see Liverpool take on Borussia Dortmund Legends at 3pm GMT, with proceeds supporting community initiatives.

Liverpool confirmed in a statement: “Jürgen Klopp has joined the Liverpool FC Legends management team for the upcoming game against Borussia Dortmund Legends.”

Legends expected to feature include Sami Hyypia, Fabio Aurelio, Gregory Vignal, Martin Kelly, and Yossi Benayoun. Klopp and Dalglish will also be joined on the touchline by LFC ambassador Ian Rush and Forever Reds chair John Aldridge, adding star power to the sidelines.

The charity match is presented by AXA in association with Forever Reds, promising fans a nostalgic trip down memory lane as Liverpool’s iconic figures reunite for a good cause.
