James Brown announces return to church

Nigerian controversial media personality James Brown Obialor, popularly known as James Brown, has announced that he is taking his spirituality serious in 2026.

The actor on his Instagram page, expressed his concerns with being famous, stating that he needs spiritual covering. James also explained that his decision to return to church, came after a series of dreams he has been having.

The media personality accompanied his post with a video of himself in a white garment church, receiving prayers.

”Since I resumed this year, my spirit has been speaking loudly through my dreams. And it reminded me of something very real: being known, being visible, being famous is not just physical it is spiritual. The whole world sees you. Lovers see you. Enemies see you. Your image travels places you don’t even know. You don’t know where your pictures have been taken to or used for. So I said to myself: this is the time. This is the right time to return fully to church, to cover myself spiritually,” he wrote.
