Nigeria, Others Meet OPEC Output Targets for Late 2025
The Organisation of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) has confirmed overall compliance with crude oil production targets for November and December 2025 by its members and allied non-OPEC producers under the Declaration of Cooperation (DoC).
The confirmation followed the 64th Meeting of the Joint Ministerial Monitoring Committee (JMMC), which was held via videoconference on Sunday, February 1, 2026.
In a statement issued after the meeting, the committee said it reviewed crude oil production data for the two months and noted that participating OPEC and non-OPEC countries broadly adhered to agreed output levels.
“The JMMC reviewed the crude oil production data for November and December 2025 and noted the overall conformity for OPEC and non-OPEC countries participating in the Declaration of Cooperation,” the statement said.
The committee reiterated the importance of full conformity and compensation by all participating countries and reviewed updated compensation schedules aimed at addressing past production deviations.
It also reaffirmed its commitment to monitoring compliance with the production adjustments agreed at the 38th OPEC and non-OPEC Ministerial Meeting (ONOMM) held on December 5, 2024, as well as the additional voluntary production cuts announced by some participating countries and endorsed at the 52nd JMMC meeting on February 1, 2024.
According to the statement, the JMMC retains the authority to convene additional meetings or recommend an OPEC and non-OPEC Ministerial Meeting should market conditions require further intervention.
The committee announc tryed that its next meeting, the 65th JMMC, is scheduled to hold on April 5, 2026.
