Rapper Snoop Dogg mourns death of granddaughter

Hip-hop icon Snoop Dogg is mourning the death of his granddaughter, Codi, following a heartbreaking announcement by his daughter, Cori Broadus.

Cori confirmed the tragic news on Saturday via social media, sharing a black-and-white photo of herself smiling while holding the baby. In an emotional post, she described Codi as the “love of my life,” revealing that the child passed away earlier in the week.

Codi, Snoop Dogg’s 10-month-old granddaughter, was born three months premature and had spent much of her short life receiving medical care in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).

Despite the challenges, Cori had recently shared hopeful updates about her daughter’s condition. Just weeks ago, she posted a photo of herself resting with Codi, telling followers that God had answered their prayers.

Codi’s father, Wayne Deuce, also paid tribute to the late infant in a touching social media message, vowing that he would always carry her in his heart.

The death has drawn an outpouring of sympathy from fans and well-wishers, as the Broadus family grieves the loss of their youngest member.
