‘Your pastor should not be number one in your life,’ Pastor Iren

Nigerian Pastor Emmanuel Iren has shared his thoughts on relationships and priorities in marriages. The 36-year-old, while addressing his congregation, urged ladies not to place their pastors above their husbands.

Iren explained that certain acts have the power to cause tension in a home, stressing the need for boundaries. He questioned married women who use their pastors’ pictures as display pictures, stating that pastors should not be the number one person in their lives.

“Watch how your woman prioritizes you, that shows how much she truly loves you. Let me say it to you, there is how men can look at you and they know you are vulnerable. Let me say this to you Christian ladies, even your pastor is not permitted to be number one in your life. Some women are the reason some men don’t like pastors. Tell me, as a woman, why would you put a pastor’s picture on your profile when you have a husband?” he stated.
