Grammys 2026: Burna Boy loses Best Global Music Album

Nigerian superstar Burna Boy has missed out on the Best Global Music Album award at the 2026 Grammy Awards, as Brazilian icons Caetano Veloso and Maria Bethânia claimed the prize for Caetano e Bethânia Ao Vivo.

The loss comes on the heels of Burna Boy’s earlier defeat in the Best African Music Performance category, where South African singer Tyla took the award for Push 2 Start, beating him alongside Davido and Ayra Starr.
