‘I’m disappointed in Chioma,’ Ossai Ovie speaks on Grammy looks

Ossai Ovie, the Senior Special Assistant on Media to Delta State Governor, has shared his opinion on the outfits worn by Nigerians to the 68th Grammy Awards ceremony.

The media aide on his social media page, expressed his disappointment in the lack of cultural representation by Nigerian artists at the event.

Ovie particularly spoke about Chioma Adeleke’s outfit, stating that she dressed ‘half-naked’ to the event. He also stressed his disappointment in Davido, Chioma’s husband, stating that he should not have allowed her to wear the dress she wore.

“I am disappointed in Chioma Davido’s dressing. She shouldn’t have been half-naked to Grammy. She didn’t represent Nigerian culture well, embracing a half naked revealing Western style instead. Cultural representation matters, and it’s crucial. I am disappointed in Davido for allowing her to dress this way. I am really disappointed,” he stated.
