NPA unveils schedule for 48 incoming ships to Lagos harbours

A total of 48 ships laden with petroleum products, commodities and other goods are expected to arrive Apapa, Tin-Can Island and Lekki Deep Sea Ports in Lagos, from Feb. 2 to Feb.15.
The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) disclosed this in its publication ‘Shipping Position’, a copy of which was made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday in Lagos.
NPA explained that 23 of the expected ships contained containers of different goods, while other ships contained crude oil, bulk urea, petrol, bulk gypsum, bulk wheat, general cargo, bulk gas and petrol.

NPA also said that 17 ships are currently discharging general cargoes, fresh fish, bulk gypsum, containers, bulk fertilizer, bulk sugar, diesel and petrol.
