Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has declared that there are no more “vagabonds” in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
He spoke during the inauguration of the Oyo State PDP Secretariat in Ibadan on Tuesday. Makinde explained that the vagabonds had grown in 2015 and had 10 years to act as they pleased.
“They were expelled from the PDP in November 2025. So, no more vagabonds in PDP,” he said.

Observers believe Makinde’s remarks were directed at FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, who is leading a rival faction within the PDP.
