Nigerian Grammy nominated singer David Adeleke, also known as Davido, has opened up on his growth and life after marriage.
The singer, while speaking on The Long Form podcast, revealed that he is gradually becoming more of a ‘homebody’ than an ‘outsider’.
Davido explained that although he used to enjoy partying and clubbing when he initially became famous, he now enjoys staying at home and speaking with his wife, Chioma.
“Blowing up at a young age with freedom, power and money, I used to be very reckless. I used to go to the club everyday.
“But these days, I don’t even go to the clubs. I was in Nigeria for almost two months and I didn’t go out. I was just at home and I was having fun. I was just chilling in my studio, and inviting people to make barbecue for me. It was fun. And before you know it, it’s 3 am or 4:30 am. I just go home, call my wife, sleep off on FaceTime,” he expressed.
He noted however, that he still attends parties and functions, stressing that he just prioritises family time more.
