Quick Read

Since its establishment in 2022, Binkha Helping Hands Foundation has emerged as a growing humanitarian initiative committed to supporting vulnerable communities through targeted social intervention programs.

Founded by Suleiman Mustapha, the foundation was created with the vision of providing assistance to people in need while promoting compassion, community development, and social responsibility. According to information from the organisation, the foundation has steadily expanded its reach through structured programs designed to address welfare and social support needs.

At the administrative level, the foundation operates under a leadership team that includes Justus Osas Evbuomwan, who serves among the executives helping to coordinate activities, partnerships, and outreach efforts.

Observers note that structured leadership and defined programs are often essential for nonprofit organisations seeking to sustain long-term humanitarian impact, particularly in communities facing economic pressure and rising living costs.

Programs and Activities

Since its founding, Binkha Helping Hands Foundation has implemented five programs aimed at supporting different segments of society. While details of each initiative continue to evolve, the organisation maintains that its interventions focus on relief, empowerment, and community welfare.

Across Nigeria, similar nonprofit organisations frequently undertake initiatives such as food distribution, educational support, empowerment schemes, and community outreach programs to alleviate hardship and improve living conditions. Ramadan feeding programs, in particular, have become a common humanitarian activity, providing meals and essential food supplies to fasting Muslims and vulnerable families.

These programs are widely regarded as an important form of social support during periods of economic difficulty and religious observance.

Next Project: “Fasting Ramadan Feed the Nation”

Looking ahead, the foundation has announced plans for its next major initiative titled “Fasting Ramadan Feed the Nation.”

The project is expected to focus on providing meals and food assistance to fasting individuals and families, especially those facing financial hardship. Similar Ramadan feeding campaigns conducted by charitable organisations across Nigeria have demonstrated how such initiatives can reach thousands of beneficiaries and help ease the burden on struggling households.

Organisers of the upcoming program say the initiative aims not only to provide food but also to foster unity, generosity, and compassion within communities.

Vision for the Future

Although still relatively young, Binkha Helping Hands Foundation continues to position itself as a grassroots organisation driven by the goal of improving lives and supporting the less privileged.

With expanding programs and planned outreach activities, the foundation’s leadership expresses optimism that sustained partnerships, volunteer support, and community engagement will strengthen its impact in the coming years.

As humanitarian needs continue to grow across many communities, initiatives like these highlight the role of local foundations in bridging gaps and providing practical support to those most in need.
