Prince Siyanbola Oladigbolu, a biological grandson of the late Alaafin of Oyo and first cousin to the incumbent Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Abimbola Owoade, was among the notable traditional figures present at the solemn ceremony.
His attendance highlighted the longstanding cultural and traditional ties that exist among royal institutions across the country.
High Chief Edebiri and his family hold a significant traditional title in the Palace of the Oba of Benin, where he was widely regarded as a loyalist chief who served the great Benin Kingdom with dedication and distinction.
The arrival of Prince Siyanbola Oladigbolu attracted considerable attention at the gathering as he made a royal entry dressed in full traditional Oyo cultural attire, reflecting the heritage and prestige of the Oyo royal household.
He was accompanied by several dignitaries and associates, including Otunba Kayode Oni, Engr. Tolulope Adesida, Prince Adesope Olubuse of Ile, Comrade Olujimi, and other well-wishers who came to honour the late chief.
