Veteran Nigerian singer 2Baba, born Innocent Ujah Idibia, has opened up about the circumstances surrounding a disagreement with his wife, Natasha Osawaru, in London in 2025.
The award-winning artiste spoke during an appearance on the Mic On podcast, where he reflected on personal and professional decisions he now regrets and the lessons he has learned from them.
Recounting the incident, the singer admitted that his reaction during the altercation was driven by anger and emotional pressure, describing it as unfortunate.
“I was angry that day. It was an unfortunate incident,” he said.
2Baba explained that balancing personal struggles with life in the public eye has not always been easy, noting that certain experiences have forced him to reassess how he handles conflict and stress.
According to him, emotional strain can cloud judgment, adding that he now understands the importance of responding more carefully during tense situations.
“There are so many things I wish I could rewind and do better. As a human being, there are times when you are overwhelmed and don’t make the best decisions,” he said.
