I have not been the best dad – 2Baba confesses

Legendary Nigerian singer 2Baba, also known as Innocent Ujah Idibia, has admitted he has not fully lived up to his responsibilities as a father.

The music icon made the revelation during a recent episode of the Mic On podcast hosted by Seun Okinbaloye, where he spoke candidly about his personal life and parenting.

According to the singer, he wants to become more present in the lives of his children and contribute more positively to their upbringing. He emphasised the importance of a father figure while also noting that he prefers to keep aspects of his family life private.

“I want to really contribute to society positively and make meaningful impact. I have not been the best daddy. I want to do more. However, privacy is very important,” he said.

2Baba, who has eight children from different relationships, said he is committed to improving and being a better parent moving forward.
