Why my relationship with Portable crashed – Actress Ashabi Simple

Yoruba Nollywood actress and filmmaker Ashabi Simple has alleged that Nigerian singer Portable exploited her because she was young when they met.

Ashabi made the claim during an interview on Oyinmomo TV on YouTube, where she spoke about her past relationship with the controversial music star.

According to the actress, she would not have entered into the relationship if the singer had not promised to marry her. She stated that Portable approached her at a young age and took advantage of the situation.

Speaking in Yoruba, she said the singer was also caring despite his controversial lifestyle and added that she experienced career growth after meeting him.

The actress disclosed that they are no longer together, explaining that she decided to move on to see if she could succeed independently.

Ashabi further revealed that Portable has 10 children, noting that one of them is hers.

She, however, declined to clearly state whether she would consider reconciling with the singer in the future.

The interview has since generated reactions online, with social media users sharing mixed opinions about the
