2027: Atiku, Makinde hold closed-door meeting with ex-Nigerian president

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar on Tuesday visited the private hilltop residence of ex-Military President General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (rtd) in Minna, Niger State.

Atiku arrived at the IBB residence shortly after 1 p.m. and immediately entered a closed-door meeting with the former president.

According to Leadership, the consultation reportedly focused on electoral reforms, including the electronic transmission of election results, new tax policies, and other pressing national issues.

About 40 minutes into the meeting, Oyo State Governor Engr. Seyi Makinde joined the session.

Either Atiku or Babangida is expected to brief journalists after the meeting concludes.
