How my family ruined my businesses – Zicsaloma opens up

Popular Nigerian skitmaker, Isaac Aloma, popularly known as Zicsaloma, has opened up about how family pressures delayed his journey to financial independence.

The comedian made the revelation in a recent video where he shared his thoughts on money management and the importance of setting financial boundaries.

Zicsaloma explained that while growing up, he ventured into several business projects, but many failed due to what he described as the entitled expectations of family members.

“I did a lot of business while growing up but most of them failed because of family. African family and even your own family are very entitled to your wealth. Even when the purpose of working is to save money and build a better future,” he said.

The skitmaker stressed that people seeking financial freedom must learn to be firm with their finances, even with close friends and relatives.

“It is very very okay to be financially heartless even to your friends and family so that you can even save up and break that circle. They will hate you for it but trust me, it is for your own good,” he added.
