Ekene Umenwa in ‘hot soup’ over shocking claims involving Destiny Etiko

Actress Destiny Etiko has publicly called out her colleague, Ekene Umenwa, following claims that the latter had been “badmouthing” her to industry peers.

The controversy erupted on Saturday, February 14, 2026, after upcoming actress Adanma Waller (popularly known as Priscawalls) shared a viral video.

In the exposé, Priscawalls accused Ekene of habitually slandering her colleagues behind their backs while maintaining a “saintly” public image.

According to Priscawalls, Ekene Umenwa has allegedly spoken ill of nearly every prominent name she has worked with, including:

• Ruby Ojiakor

• Lizzy Gold

• Chioma Chijioke

• Uche Nancy (and her daughters)

“Everyone of them had smelly baggage (according to her),” Priscawalls claimed in the video. “I dare her to come out and deny any of these things… then I will do a fresh video with a long list of everybody and what she said about them.”

Taking to her Instagram page, Destiny Etiko expressed shock and disbelief at the allegations. Having previously considered Ekene a close friend—often seen celebrating together at events like Ruby Ojiakor’s wedding—the “Drama Doll” questioned the betrayal.

“Am I dreaming? Really? I thought we were sisters. Why the lies?” Etiko wrote.

Etiko recently filed a petition demanding ₦100 million in damages from Queeneth Hilbert. This followed Queeneth’s public accusations that Etiko “snatches” colleagues’ partners, specifically citing an ex-boyfriend from Benin.

 In response to the police intervention triggered by Etiko’s legal team, Queeneth Hilbert filed her own application to enforce her fundamental rights, challenging what she termed “harassment.”

Tensions remain high between Etiko and Angela Okorie after a video surfaced of the two avoiding each other at a public event. Angela later claimed during a Live session that Etiko “hides behind keypads” but cannot confront her face-to-face.
