Gospel singer Tosin Bee dragged into Davido’s custody drama

Afrobeats superstar Davido has stirred controversy online after mistakenly directing criticism at gospel artiste Tosin Bee amid his ongoing custody dispute with estranged partner Sophia Momodu.

The incident followed a courtroom exchange between Davido and lawyer Ebelechukwu Enedah, who represents Momodu.

The disagreement reportedly centred on references to Davido’s late son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, during the proceedings.

In a strongly worded Instagram post reacting to the courtroom development, Davido criticised Enedah’s conduct.

However, in the process, he reposted content from Tosin Bee, apparently assuming a connection between the gospel singer and the lawyer.

“And she has a son. Tosin you will live long amen with the rubbish you dey sing… Useless people,” Davido wrote.

The post quickly drew attention, prompting Tosin Bee to issue a public clarification.

The gospel singer distanced himself from the legal dispute and denied any knowledge of the matter.

“Hello Mr David, I don’t know anything about the post you made. As a matter of fact, my mum went to be with the Lord eight years ago,” Tosin Bee stated, suggesting the situation was a case of mistaken identity.

“I guess this is a case of mistaken identity. So sorry you had to deal with this, but my prayers are with you. I love you brother”.

Davido, later in his response, said: “I appologize! My bad G”
