Robert Duvall passes on at 95

Hollywood Actor Robert Duvall, has passed on at the age of 95. The actor, famous for his role in popular American films The Godfather and Apocalypse Now, was reported to have passed on peacefully in his home in Middleburg, Virginia, on Sunday.

A statement was released by his PR agency on behalf of his wife, Luciana, to announce his death. Luciana expressed her sadness over his passing, stating that he was everything to her.

“To the world, he was an Academy Award-winning actor, a director, a storyteller. To me, he was simply everything. His passion for his craft was matched only by his deep love for characters, a great meal, and holding court,” she said.

Al Pacino, Godfather co-star, also spoke fondly of Duvall, stating that working with him was an honor.

“He was a born actor as they say, his connection with it, his understanding and his phenomenal gift will always be remembered. I will miss him,” he said.
