‘I’ve never met Tonto Dikeh’- Churchill’s wife, Rosy Meurer

Gambia-born Nollywood actress Rosy Meurer has dismissed long-standing claims that she was once friends with actress Tonto Dikeh before marrying her husband, Olakunle Churchill.

Meurer made the clarification in a series of video posts shared on her Instagram page in the early hours of Wednesday, while also addressing rumours of a possible social media rift between her and Churchill.

Reacting to claims that she met Churchill through Dikeh, the actress insisted that they had never been friends and had never met in person.

“I was never my husband’s ex’s friend, not to talk her best friend. I have never met her, I have never seen her, she doesn’t have my number, I don’t have her number,” she said.

She further challenged anyone with proof of any prior relationship between them to present it publicly, insisting narratives suggesting she was introduced to Churchill by Dikeh were false.

Addressing viral reports that she recently unfollowed her husband on Instagram, Meurer shared video evidence showing she still follows his account. She demonstrated her following list and explained how the platform shows how long users have followed each other.

“I have no reason to unfollow my husband. I did not unfollow my husband. I don’t know what technical issue or what game anyone is playing,” she added.

Her reaction comes weeks after reports emerged that Dikeh and Churchill had resolved their long-running public dispute, marked by a reunion involving their son.

Churchill and Meurer reportedly got married in 2019 and welcomed their first child together in 2021.
