Alleged Rape: TikToker Mirabel battles for life in ICU as Ogun Police continue investigation

The Ogun State Police Command has confirmed that viral TikToker Mirabel, who is at the centre of a sexual assault allegation case, is currently receiving intensive medical care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

The Police Public Relations Officer, Oluseyi Babaseyi, made the revelation during an interview with Channels Television, confirming that the incident occurred in the Ogijo area of Ogun State.

He explained that the area borders Lagos, which had previously led to some confusion over jurisdiction.

According to Babaseyi, by the directive of the Commissioner of Police, the Divisional Police Officer of the Ibafo Division first documented the case at the Ogijo Police Station. “Following this, she was transferred to the ICU because she is not strong enough to provide a full account of events until her condition stabilizes,” he said.

The spokesperson reiterated that Mirabel’s health and well-being remain the priority of the command, and that the investigation will continue once she is medically fit to give her statement.
