The actress made this known in a post shared on her official Instagram page, stressing that purchasing a product or service from a business does not translate to endorsing or advertising the brand.

Nollywood actress Dayo Amusa has issued a stern warning to vendors and business owners, cautioning them against using her name, pictures or videos to promote their products and services without her permission.

The actress made this known in a post shared on her official Instagram page, stressing that purchasing a product or service from a business does not translate to endorsing or advertising the brand.

According to Amusa, some business owners wrongly assume she is obligated to promote them after patronising their services, a notion she firmly rejected.

“Henceforth, if I pay for your product or service, don’t expect me to mention or tag you in my post,” she wrote.

She further warned that her images and videos must not be used for marketing, sales or publicity without her clear authorisation, adding that violators would face consequences.

The film star also clarified that she does not run a charity platform, except for her non-profit initiative, the Dayo Amusa Foundation.

“Do not use my picture or video for any promotional purpose without my consent. If you do, you will face the consequences,” she added.
