The cheques were presented to next-of-kin and relatives of the deceased officers to assist with education, healthcare and other essential needs.

Representing the CP at the event, Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Finance and Administration, DCP Ibrahim Sumaila, delivered a message from the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, stressing that officers’ welfare remains a priority.
