The All Progressives Congress (APC) has secured victory in two polling units located within the Presidential Villa area in the ongoing Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Area Council elections.
At Polling Unit 4, situated on Kofo Abayomi Street beside the Officers’ Mess in the Presidential Villa, the APC polled 24 votes to emerge winner. The African Democratic Congress (ADC) trailed behind with five votes at the same polling unit.
Similarly, at the Presidential Villa/Police Affairs Commission polling unit, the APC also recorded a clear lead.
The party scored 32 votes, maintaining its dominance in the area. The ADC followed with 11 votes, while the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) managed to secure just two votes.
The results from these polling units show an early advantage for the APC in the high-profile Presidential Villa axis of the FCT.
However, collation of results is still ongoing in other parts of the territory, and final outcomes across the various area councils are yet to be officially announced by electoral authorities.
