Uzuo Arukwe, Bam Bam continue on-screen romance amid dating rumours

Nollywood actors Uzor Arukwe and Olawunmi Adenibuyan, popularly known as Bam Bam, have continued to spark conversations with their on-screen romance amid growing speculation about her marriage to Tope Adenibuyan.

The pair recently co-starred in the romantic film Without You, released ahead of Valentine’s Day, where they played lovers navigating emotional conflict and reconciliation.

Their latest collaboration has triggered mixed reactions online, especially following reports of alleged tension between Bam Bam and her husband.

While some fans commended the actors for their professionalism, others questioned the timing of the movie release, linking it to rumours of marital strain.

Arukwe, however, appeared unbothered by the online chatter. Responding to a social media user who advised him to avoid working with Bam Bam until her reported marital issues were resolved, the actor fired back, “That’s why you’re not me.”

He also warned against dragging his name into what he described as unverified claims surrounding the actress’ marriage.

The duo had previously attracted attention for their chemistry in Love in Every Word, produced by Omoni Oboli.

Speculation about Bam Bam’s relationship with Teddy A first surfaced in December after fans noticed both parties no longer follow each other on Instagram. The rumours gained traction on Valentine’s Day when Teddy A shared solo photos holding a red rose alongside a cryptic caption.

Bam Bam and Teddy A met during the 2018 edition of Big Brother Naija before getting married in Dubai in 2019.

Despite mounting social media scrutiny, the couple has yet to publicly address the unfollowing or the rumours surrounding their relationship. Meanwhile, fans continue to monitor their online activities and on-screen roles for possible signs of a rift.
