Veteran Nollywood comic actor Wale Akorede, popularly known as Okunnu, has reacted strongly to movie marketer Olasco Films following a dispute over an alleged long-standing debt.
The controversy began after the actor accused the film marketer of owing him payment for a movie he claimed to have produced and directed about 16 years ago.
According to Okunnu, he never received his share of the proceeds from the project and said he could not forgive the situation.
However, Olasco Films, in an interview, dismissed the allegation and described the actor as ungrateful, claiming he had paid Okunnu ₦2 million to produce the film.
Responding in the comment section of the interview shared on Instagram, the comic actor threatened to speak out and end his years of silence over the issue.
“I’m still coming for you in a BIG way. My silence for 16 years is coming soon,” he wrote.
