Gov. Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers has described the victory of candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates, Ukalikpe Napoleon and Henrietta Bulabari in Saturday’s by-elections in Rivers State as well-deserved, given their popularity in their respective constituencies. the state.
Recall that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) conducted by-elections to fill two vacant seats in the Rivers House of Assembly.
Napoleon of the APC emerged winner in Ahoada East State Constituency, while Bulabari clinched the Khana State Constituency II seat, defeating candidates of other political parties.
Fubara in a statement on Tuesday congratulated the candidates of Napoleon and Bulabari while affirming that their victories reflected their popularity and believe in their capacities by the people of their constituencies.

“It is the beauty of democracy. When the people believe in your capacity, they will give you, their votes.
“I look forward to working with them and their colleagues in the State House of Assembly,” the governor said.
Fubara commended the people of the two constituencies for their peaceful conduct before, during and after the elections.
