Primeboy breaks silence on Mohbad’s delayed burial

A close associate of late singer Mohbad, Primeboy, has appealed for the immediate burial of the artiste, almost three years after his passing.

In a video message circulating online, Primeboy said Mohbad’s remains have been kept in a mortuary since September 12, 2023, as burial arrangements continue to face delays.

He called on the singer’s family, the public and relevant authorities to allow the burial to take place, stressing that the late musician deserves to be laid to rest.

“It’s been almost three years since Mohbad left us. His body is still in the mortuary. I’m begging the family, I’m begging the public, I’m begging the government, please let’s bury our brother. He deserves a befitting burial,” he said.

Mohbad’s death triggered nationwide outrage, protests and multiple investigations. Autopsy examinations, police inquiries and legal proceedings, alongside disagreements among family members, have reportedly contributed to the delay in final burial arrangements.
