Bashir Ahmad reacts to attack on Mosque in Kebbi

Bashir Ahmad, a former presidential media aide, has reacted to the attack launched at worshippers in a mosque in Kebbi. The attack which led to the death of several residents, happened in Dadin-Kowa community in Maiyama Local Government Area of the state.

Bashir in a post on his official Facebook page, regarded the tragedy as troubling, criticising the killing of worshippers during Ramadan.

“The repeated attacks by the Lakurawa terrorists on innocent civilians are deeply troubling and unacceptable. They stormed a mosque last night in Kebbi and killed worshippers during this blessed month of Ramadan. These senseless attacks must be strongly condemned in the strongest terms by all and our authorities must act decisively to protect lives and restore peace,” he wrote.
