Prophet Samuel’s past warnings resurface as U.S.-Israel strikes on Iran escalate tensions

As the Middle East erupts in what some fear could spiral into a broader international war, prophecies delivered by Prophet Ikechukwu O. Samuel, founder of Shiloh Word Chapel—a non-denominational ministry in Abuja—are gaining renewed attention for their eerie prescience.

On December 31, 2021, during a crossover service, Prophet Samuel warned of impending global turmoil. Among his declarations, he stated:

“I see leaders of nations, Israel and all Middle East, kingdom rising against nations, this is pointing to the 3rd world war.”

This vision of escalating conflicts in the region, potentially leading to World War III, has resurfaced amid the ongoing crisis that began on February 28, 2026, when the United States and Israel launched coordinated strikes against Iran, resulting in the death of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

A year later, on December 31, 2022, Prophet Samuel issued another call to prayer, urging intercession for several nations:

“Let’s pray for Russia, Iran, America, UK, etc., pray against power clash in leadership, from now till 4 years.”

This timeframe—spanning roughly from 2023 to 2026—aligns strikingly with the current escalations, which intensified just hours ago on March 2, 2026. Reports indicate Iran retaliated with missile strikes on U.S. military facilities in the Gulf, including attacks on bases in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar, while Hezbollah exchanged fire with Israel in Lebanon.

The conflict has widened rapidly, with explosions reported in cities like Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Doha, and incidents of “friendly fire” in Kuwait where local forces mistakenly downed U.S. fighter jets.

Casualties are mounting: Iranian officials report over 555 deaths from U.S.-Israeli strikes, while at least 11 have been killed in Israel and 31 in Lebanon. U.S. military sources confirmed four American troops killed in the operations, with President Donald Trump vowing to continue until all objectives are met, potentially lasting up to four weeks.

Prophet Samuel, often referred to as Prophet I.O. Samuel, has built a reputation for accurate predictions on global and national events through his ministry at Shiloh Word Chapel in Apo Mechanic Village, Abuja. His prophecies, delivered during annual New Year’s Eve services, have previously touched on issues like aviation disasters and health crises, such as a 2025 “masked related disease” outbreak.

Social media users and commentators are now highlighting these earlier statements, with one Instagram post dubbing his Iran-Israel warning the “most accurate prophecy” on the conflict, urging followers to “watch and pray.”

In a 2025 interview amid rising Middle East tensions, Prophet Samuel emphasized the role of prayer in averting catastrophe, stating:

“I see tomorrow. But if we listen and pray, God will do the rest—He has the final say.”

As the world watches the unfolding events—including Russia’s expressions of solidarity with Gulf states and calls for ceasefire from the UAE—many are reflecting on these words.

Shiloh Word Chapel continues to hold services, with recent live streams focusing on prophetic insights and calls for global peace. Neither the prophet nor his ministry has issued a new statement on the current crisis, but followers are urged to join in prayer as the conflict shows no signs of abating.

Analysts warn that the involvement of multiple nations, including proxy forces like Iranian-backed militias in Iraq and Yemen, could indeed fulfill fears of a larger war. For now, Prophet Samuel’s visions from years past serve as a sobering reminder of the fragility of international stability.
