APC sets up panels for congress in Kano

The All Progressives Congress in Kano State has set up three committees to supervise its State Congress taking place on Tuesday.

The party said the event would hold at the Indoor Sports Stadium at 8.00 pm.

In a statement issued by the state spokesperson, Ahmad Aruwa, on the instruction of outgoing chairman Prince Abdullahi Sunusi, the party explained that the panels were constituted to guarantee a credible and orderly exercise in line with its rules.

The Congress and Accreditation Committee will be chaired by Rabi’u Bichi, while the Publicity Committee will be led by Muhammad Garba. The Security Committee is headed by Col. Malami.

Aruwa expressed confidence in the panels, stating, “The leadership of the party is confident that the committees will discharge their responsibilities diligently and ensure a smooth congress.”

He also appealed to members to cooperate fully and conduct themselves responsibly.

“We call on all members to conduct themselves in a disciplined and responsible manner to sustain the unity and progress of our great party,” he added.

The party reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening internal democracy and unity within its Kano chapter.
