Sophia Momodu’s lawyer files ₦1B lawsuit against Davido

‎Sophia Momodu’s lawyer, Ebelechukwu Egeonu Enedah, has filed a N1 billion lawsuit against Afrobeats superstar, Davido.

The lawsuit, filed amid ongoing child custody battle, was filed by Punuka Attorneys & Solicitors. They demanded a public apology, retraction of the statements, and N1 billion in damages.

The firm’s lawsuit came shortly after a heated court session on February 12, 2026, where Davido allegedly verbally attacked Enedah and later made defamatory posts about her on social media, calling her the ‘worst lawyer ever’.

Davido is however, yet to react to the lawsuit filed against him.
