British rapper and actor Justin Jude Clarke-Samuel, popularly known as Ghetts, has been sentenced to 12 years in prison after a fatal hit-and-run accident.
The accident, which claimed the life of a 20-year-old student, Yabin Tamang, happened in England in 2025.
Ghetts admitted that he was over speeding on a residential road when the accident occurred. Reports also say that the rapper had consumed alcohol before getting behind the wheel.
He also fled the scene of the accident instead of contacting the police and medical emergency workers. The victim, sadly passed on, two days after the accident, from the injuries he sustained during the hit.
Ghetts was sentenced to a 12-year prison term and a disqualification from driving for 17 years after his release from prison.
