In one account, the woman claims Epstein introduced her to Trump in either New York or New Jersey and alleges that Trump attempted to force her to perform sexual acts, which she resisted.

The United States Department of Justice (DOJ) on Thursday released nearly 50,000 previously withheld documents tied to the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, including claims implicating US President Donald Trump.

The newly published files describe multiple interviews conducted by the FBI in 2019 with a woman who alleges she was sexually assaulted by both Epstein and Trump between the ages of 13 and 15. In one account, the woman claims Epstein introduced her to Trump in either New York or New Jersey and alleges that Trump attempted to force her to perform sexual acts, which she resisted.

The DOJ said the documents were not previously made public because they had been mistakenly marked as “duplicative” during earlier congressionally mandated releases of Epstein-related files. Officials emphasized that the documents had undergone careful review to redact sensitive information, including the identities of victims and details that could compromise ongoing investigations.

Trump has consistently denied any wrongdoing related to the Epstein allegations. A statement from the DOJ noted that some claims in the documents “contain untrue and sensationalist allegations against President Trump.”

The release comes amid renewed scrutiny from Democrats, who have accused the Trump administration of mishandling the Epstein files to protect the former president. On Wednesday, a House committee voted to subpoena Attorney General Pam Bondi to explain the Justice Department’s handling of the documents.

The 50,000-file tranche is part of a larger set of records made public under the Epstein Files Transparency Act, a law signed by Trump in late 2025 requiring the DOJ to publish most records connected to the Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell cases. Previously, nearly 47,635 records had been temporarily withheld for further review to ensure sensitive material was properly redacted before public release.
