Russia has reportedly begun sharing sensitive military intelligence with Iran as the war between Israel, the United States and Tehran deepens, raising fears of a wider global confrontation.

According to a report by the Washington Post, officials in the United States believe Moscow has passed information about the locations of several US assets including warships and aircraft operating across the Middle East to Iranian forces.

The alleged move by Russian President Vladimir Putin is seen as a major escalation in the ongoing conflict involving Iran, Israel and the United States.

The development comes as the war entered its seventh day, with fresh missile and drone attacks reported across the Gulf region.

Iranian missiles struck a hotel and two residential buildings in Manama, the capital of Bahrain, triggering fires and panic among residents.

Authorities said the attacks were part of a wider barrage targeting American allies in the region.

In Saudi Arabia, officials confirmed that three drones were intercepted near the capital Riyadh, while residents in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates received emergency alerts instructing them to seek shelter.

Meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump issued a fresh warning to Iran’s military, urging its forces to surrender or face “guaranteed death”.

Trump said the United States had “only just begun” its military operations against Iran.

His Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth also warned that American firepower in the region is set to increase dramatically in the coming days.

Despite the threats, Trump said he is not considering sending ground troops into Iran for now, insisting that a full-scale invasion would be unnecessary.
