SEVEN Computer Logistics Limited is set to officially commission its state-of-the-art flour production facility for plantain, yam, cassava, rice and other starches on March 16, 2026, at The New Mill, Raymond Estate, Aboh–Kwale Road, Ugbene Aboh.

The landmark event, themed “From our soil to the world, transforming local harvests into global opportunities,” marks a significant step in the company’s commitment to turning locally grown agricultural produce into products capable of competing in the global market.

The commissioning ceremony is expected to bring together stakeholders from the agricultural, business and media sectors, as well as community leaders and development partners.

The initiative is aimed at strengthening agro-processing in the region while creating employment opportunities and providing a reliable market for local farmers.

Speaking ahead of the event, the Managing Director of SEVEN Computer Logistics Limited, Raymond Ananenu II, described the project as the fulfillment of a long-held vision focused on adding value to locally harvested produce. According to him, establishing the plantain and yam flour mill represents a strategic effort to harness the rich agricultural potential of the area.

“This is an idea I have nurtured for several years,” Ananenu said. “Flour production has great value and market potential. I saw the need to invest in it and decided to bring the project to my hometown, where the raw materials are readily available.”

He further explained that the company is adopting a farm-to-production model, ensuring that the supply chain begins directly from local farms and moves straight to the processing facility. This approach, he noted, will improve efficiency, support farmers and strengthen distribution networks.

The commissioning of the plant is expected to position SEVEN Computer Logistics Limited as a key player in agro-processing while opening new economic opportunities for the host community and beyond, reflecting the company’s vision of taking products from local soil to the global market.
