Moment Eucharia Anunobi roars at podcast host over missing titles

Veteran Nollywood actress Eucharia Anunobi has criticised a podcast host for incorrectly introducing her during an interview on The Honest Bunch podcast.

A video clip from the interview, which has since circulated widely online, shows the moment the host referred to the actress as “Ukeriya Anunobi Eku” while introducing her on the show.

However, Anunobi quickly interrupted the host to correct the pronunciation of her name and to emphasise that her official titles were omitted from the introduction.

The actress clarified that her proper name is Eucharia Anunobi and insisted that she should be addressed with the titles she has earned.

She stated that the appropriate way to introduce her is “Apostle Dr. Eucharia Anunobi.”

According to the actress, her doctorate is not honorary but an academic achievement she worked hard to earn.

“If you want to introduce me, you introduce me properly. I remain Apostle Dr. Eucharia Anunobi,” she said during the interview.

“My doctorate degree is not honorarium. It is academic. I had worked. I had laboured. I am schooled. And when I mean schooled, I mean schooled,” she added.

Anunobi also described herself as a passionate professional in the film industry, stating that she remains dedicated to her craft.

“I’m a moving acting machine,” she said.

The veteran actress is widely known for her roles in several Nollywood productions and has also become recognised for her work as a Christian minister in recent years.
