‎The Commissioner of Police, Osun State Command, CP Ibrahim Gotan, Mnips, on Monday morning, received the team responsible for the Credentials and Physical Screening Exercise of successful applicants from Osun State in the ongoing recruitment of 50,000 Police Constables.

‎CP Gotan charged the team to adhere strictly to the standard of the exercise and conduct the screening with utmost integrity, fairness, and transparency, so as to make the Police Service Commission, the Nigeria Police Force, and the nation at large proud.

‎According to a press statement released from the Command in Osogbo on Monday and signed on behalf of Gotan by the Osun State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Abiodun Ojelabi, the team assured the Commissioner of their preparedness to ensure that due process is followed and that only the best and most qualified applicants are selected.

The Police team is led by the Assistant Commissioner of Police, ACP Yusuf Aderemi, while the Police Service Commission team is led by an Assistant Director, Mrs. Funmilayo Akinyose, also, the federal character team lead by Mr Adeola Adebowale; all teams are working alongside other relevant stakeholders to ensure the smooth conduct of the exercise.

‎The physical and credential screening exercise is scheduled to hold daily from 7:00 a.m. at the Police Headquarters along Ring-Road, Osogbo, and will continue until 18th April 2026.

“Only applicants who successfully completed the online registration stage and have been shortlisted are eligible to participate.

“Candidates are advised to log in to the official recruitment portal (npfapplication.psc.gov.ng) to verify their status, print necessary invitation slips and documents, and adhere strictly to all stipulated requirements.

“The Osun State Police Command reiterates that the screening process is entirely free of charge. Applicants are warned against any form of inducement or bribery, as strict disciplinary measures will be applied against violators.

“The Command remains committed to supporting a credible, merit-based recruitment process in line with the directives of the Inspector-General of Police and the Police Service Commission,” the release said.
