Afrobeats singer, Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, popularly known as Ayra Starr has praised Nigerian men despite the backlash she has received from them.
The singer, in a recent episode of the Way Up with Angela Yee, likened Nigerian men to New York men, stating that they can be supportive and very confident.
Ayra expressed that although she has her reservations about Nigerian men, she believes they can be very supportive of their wives or girlfriends.
“Nigerian men love to take care of their women. They are very supportive of their wife or girlfriend. They are very very confident, so it is almost the same thing as New York men. But you know, men are men. A man is a man still. It is universal thing,” she stated.
