BBNaija star Angel Smith announces wedding to girlfriend

Reality TV star Angel Smith has announced her wedding to her partner, Tumininu. The former Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) housemate shared the news with fans on Snapchat on Wednesday, posting a copy of her official wedding invitation.

The invitation reveals an “all-black” theme, requesting guests to “please wear black to celebrate in style with us.”

Angel and Tumininu went public with their relationship last year, sharing loved-up photos and videos on social media. The couple reportedly held a civil wedding ceremony in the United States in January.

Angel was previously in a relationship with fellow BBNaija alumnus Soma Anyama. The pair began dating during the ‘All Stars’ season in 2023 but parted ways in early 2024. Angel had publicly addressed critics at the time, pushing back against the attention surrounding the breakup.

The reality star first rose to prominence on BBNaija’s ‘Shine Ya Eye’ season in 2021, finishing as a finalist that year and again in 2023. Beyond reality TV, she has built a career as a writer and influencer in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
