Nollywood actor Mofe Duncan mourns

Nollywood actor Mofe Duncan has announced the death of his father, Josbert Thomas Kofi Duncan, who died on March 10, 2026, at the age of 94.

The actor shared the sad news in an emotional post on Instagram, where he paid tribute to his late father and expressed gratitude for the life he lived.

Duncan described his father as his “Champion” and affectionately referred to him as his “sweet old pops,” noting that while the loss has left his heart broken, he finds comfort in believing his father is now watching over him.

“And then my Daddy slept. My sweet old pops has gone to be with the Lord,” he wrote.

“My Champion has transcended. THANK YOU, DADDY… TRULY. I will celebrate you. My heart is broken, but my heart smiles cause now I have another angel watching over me, and that angel was once my Daddy.”
