Nollywood actress Debbie Shokoya has reacted to a viral report claiming that her husband surprised her with a brand-new car.

The report began circulating after the Yoruba movie star shared photos of a new vehicle on her Instagram page. Some blogs quickly interpreted the post as a luxury gift from her husband.

However, Shokoya has now set the record straight, clarifying that the vehicle does not belong to her and was only posted as part of her new car sales business.

In a post shared online, the actress expressed surprise over the misunderstanding and urged social media users to read captions carefully before drawing conclusions.

“Facebook Oooo!! Facebook People!!! Abeg Make Una Dey Calm Down Small Ooo,” she wrote.

Shokoya questioned how the post was misinterpreted, noting that nothing in her caption suggested the car belonged to her.

“Sey Na Wetin I Write For Caption Be This Or Whoever That Posted This Can’t Read… Nothing In The Caption Even Said I Own The Car,” she added.

The actress went on to reveal that she recently ventured into selling cars and encouraged her followers to patronise her business.

“Abeg Ooo!!! I Am Now Selling Cars. Kindly Patronise Me. Check My Previous Post… I Will Be Post More Nice Cars, Stay Tuned,” she said.

She also assured potential buyers that the cars are available for inspection.

“Good Cars And You Can Even Come And See Them To Know It’s Perfect. T For Tenks. Facebook People And Confusion Na Collabo,” she concluded.
