How I converted a Muslim policeman who came to arrest me – Pastor Chris

Founder of Mountain of Liberation and Miracle Ministries, Chris Okafor, has shared a dramatic account of how a police officer once stormed his church to arrest him during the early days of the ministry.
Speaking in an interview reported by Vanguard, Okafor said opposition from neighbours at the time often led to repeated attempts to shut down the church.
“So, everywhere, people were not happy with what God was doing in our ministry. There were times that they would get the police to come and arrest us, that we were disturbing them,” he said.
According to the cleric, one incident stood out.
He said a Muslim police officer allegedly forced his way into the church while he was ministering.
“He broke through the security door, came into the church and said, ‘Pastor, you are under arrest,’” Okafor recounted.
The pastor said he then told the officer God had a message for him.
“Before you arrest me, God has a word for you,” he said he told the policeman.
Okafor claimed he revealed details about the officer’s family situation, including that his wife had been planning a fibroid operation after nine years of marriage without a child.
The officer, he said, was shocked.
“He now went back, he said, ‘who are you? How did you know this thing you are telling me?’”
The pastor said he then prayed with the officer.
“Are you ready to give your life to Jesus?” Okafor said he asked, adding that the officer accepted.
According to him, the officer eventually abandoned the arrest.
“I said, ‘Do you still want to arrest me?’ He said, ‘No. Who will arrest this kind of man?’”
Okafor further claimed the officer later returned to the church with his wife, who subsequently became pregnant after prayers.
The pastor said the couple later joined the church.
Reflecting on the growth of the ministry, Okafor said it began on a single plot of land before expanding significantly.
“Our ministry then grew, we were having testimonies, God was confirming His word and then we exploded,” he said.
“When we moved to this place, we had just one plot and we started building gradually. God helped us and we expanded until we bought everywhere. So, by the grace of God, we own 90% of the property on the streets here.”
