Nigerian pastor Kingsley Okonkwo has spoken on the topic of marriage and relationships, urging men to think twice before choosing a life partner.
The pastor, who was recently involved in a controversy over his decision to draw a tattoo, stated tat men should start having standards before settling down. Kingsley explained that most men tend to view marriages as a burden because they settle down with liabilities.
He urged men to aspire to be with working women that will contribute in some ways to the management of the home.
”Men it’s high time we start having standards as well, you guys are too used to women that are liabilities that’s why less and less men desire marriage, they see it as a burden. Men set standards like you won’t marry broke women too, that you want a partner and not a dependent maybe it will make more women work and not see marriage and dating as a poverty alleviation scheme. The current system is not only unbiblical but also damaging society, women brazenly insist on rich men I think we and also insist on working women that will contribute,” he stated.
