We will pursue, kill child killer Netanyahu – Iran
Quick Read
Regional tensions have escalated sharply since the US and Israel launched a joint military operation against Iran on February 28. The strikes reportedly killed at least 1,300 people in Iran, including the country’s then-supreme leader, Ali Khamenei.
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) vows to pursue and kill Benajmin Netanyahu, whom it described as a child killer, amid assassination rumours.
The IRGC on Sunday said it carried out missile and drone strikes on three United States military bases in the region, while also vowing to continue pursuing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Iran’s semi-official Fars News Agency reported.
The statement issued a direct threat against Netanyahu, declaring that if the Israeli prime minister is “still alive, we will continue pursuing him and kill him with full force”.
Earlier in the day, the Israeli prime minister’s office rejected online claims suggesting Netanyahu had been assassinated during Iran’s response to US and Israeli strikes.
The office described the reports as “fake news” and said the prime minister was “fine”.
According to the report, the IRGC also said the attacks targeted the Al-Harir air base in Erbil, Iraq, as well as the Ali Al Salem and Arifjan bases in Kuwait. In a statement cited by Fars, the IRGC claimed the sites were hit with “powerful Iranian missiles and drones”.
The IRGC described the operation as part of the 52nd wave of what it called “Operation True Promise 4”. The group said the strikes were retaliation for the killing of workers in Iranian industrial zones during recent hostilities.
Amid the escalating conflict, several explosions were reported in Dubai on Sunday, though the cause and extent of damage were not immediately clear.
In addition, drone attacks were reported near Kuwait International Airport and at a refinery in northern Iraq, raising concerns about the widening scope of the conflict across the Gulf region.
The expanding strikes have heightened fears of a broader regional war, while also disrupting aviation routes, energy infrastructure and global markets as multiple countries in the Middle East remain on high alert.

Tehran has since responded with waves of drone and missile attacks targeting Israel and several countries in the region that host US military assets.
