Peller in trouble! TikToker hit with shocking N395m lawsuit

Popular Nigerian TikToker, Peller, is facing a N395 million lawsuit following an alleged altercation at a lounge in Lagos.

The legal action was initiated by a Lagos-based woman, Osarobo Odigie, who accused the content creator of verbal assault and invasion of privacy after an incident at Folixxx Lounge along the Lekki-Epe Expressway.

The dispute, which reportedly occurred on January 6, 2026, began while Odigie was purchasing food at the lounge. According to her legal representatives, Peller allegedly subjected her to verbal abuse during the confrontation.

The situation gained public attention after Peller shared a video of the altercation online. He later issued an apology for posting the clip without Odigie’s consent.

However, in a pre-action letter issued by Bola Osineye of FA Garrick & Co., Odigie maintained that the video publication caused her significant harm.

She is demanding N395 million in damages, citing defamation, emotional trauma, reputational damage, and further distress resulting from cyberbullying following the incident.

According to the letter, legal proceedings will commence next week if the demands are not met.
