Pete Edochie opens up on secret behind politicians’ victory

Veteran Nollywood actor, Pete Edochie, has claimed that his prayers played a role in the electoral victories of six Nigerian politicians during the 2023 general elections.

The revered film icon disclosed that the politicians had visited his residence ahead of the elections, seeking his blessings with symbolic gifts, including a ram and kolanuts. According to him, all six individuals who received his prayers went on to win their respective political contests.

Edochie made the revelation while hosting popular streamer, Peller, who paid him a courtesy visit at his home in Enugu.

“Two years ago, six people that were running for political offices came to my house. They brought me a big ram and kolanuts. I prayed for them, and they all won their elections,” he said.

The actor attributed the outcome to divine intervention, expressing gratitude to God for consistently answering his prayers.

“I am grateful to God because each time I make a request from Him, He grants it. All the people I have prayed for have succeeded in everything I asked for on their behalf,” he added.

During the visit, Edochie also offered prayers for Peller, wishing him success in his career. The streamer, in response, appreciated the veteran actor for the warm reception and his kind words.
