The North Central Zonal Youth Coordinator of the City Boy Movement (CBM), Hon. Suleiman Abubakar Magaji, has said President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has made Nigerians proud through his leadership and reform-driven policies, as he joined other members of the movement on a visit to the United Kingdom.

Magaji, who was part of a CBM delegation to the UK in line with the Nigerian president’s visit to the country, said the trip was aimed at engaging Nigerians in the diaspora, projecting a positive image of the country, and mobilising support for the President ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Speaking during interactions with Nigerians abroad, Magaji noted that the administration’s economic reforms, infrastructure initiatives, and efforts to reposition Nigeria globally have strengthened national confidence and international perception.

“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has made Nigerians proud with the bold steps he has taken to stabilise the economy and reposition the country for growth. Our visit to the UK is part of efforts to share this message and deepen engagement with Nigerians in the diaspora,” he said.

Magaji was seen during the visit alongside other prominent figures within the City Boy Movement, including its patron, Seyi Tinubu; Director-General Francis Shoga; Diaspora Coordinator Prince Bidemi Akintunde; and the Women Leader, UmmuSalma Rabiu.

Other stakeholders who participated in the engagements included the movement’s National Women Leader, entertainment personality Cubana Chief Priest, as well as representatives associated with the Energy Commission and the Director of CBM UK.

The delegation held a series of meetings and outreach sessions with members of the Nigerian community in the UK, focusing on strengthening grassroots mobilisation, encouraging civic participation, and building momentum in support of the President’s leadership.

Magaji added that beyond political advocacy, the visit also created opportunities to foster strategic partnerships and highlight Nigeria’s potential across key sectors.

He reaffirmed the movement’s commitment to youth inclusion, diaspora collaboration, and sustained support for policies aimed at national development and continuity in governance.

He added that such diaspora engagements are increasingly becoming part of broader political mobilisation strategies as stakeholders begin to position ahead of the 2027 electoral cycle.
